Building your business is hard and complicated work. You could try and learn everything yourself by watching hours of content that you are unsure of, or you could engage with experts who can do all the heavy lifting for you.

Alisha Marfatia is a client of mine and the founder of The Social Impact. She is an Instagram reels coach and works with business and brand owners to help them utilise their social media platform to grow their brand and skyrocket sales. She has also created an amazing course and community with Monique (from The Socialista) called ‘Rise with Reels’.

We discuss how she has built incredible success with her course. It has grown to over 600 people since last October and is now up to the fourth round of offerings.

I know that there is always hesitation before deciding whether or not to hire a lawyer for your business. Alisha shares her experience of what led her to hire me and how she now feels supported by my service. I am so honoured that she describes it as “a release of tension and stress” and she no longer feels like she is “walking a tightrope” she hopes to stumble across.

We finish up by discussing the important points - the best and worst advice she has received in her journey, and what advice she would give to her younger self.

TOPICS DISCUSSED AND WHERE TO FIND THEM:

[2:37]: Alisha talks about meeting Monique, the cofounder of ‘Rise with Reels’, and creating such an amazingly helpful course for business owners.

[6:11]: The similarities between Monique and Alisha in their mindset has led to creating incredible success. The course has grown to over 600 reelers inside the community and is up to the fourth round of offerings.

[8:24]: There is always hesitation before hiring a lawyer such as myself. Alisha opens up about the hesitation she felt before she sought out my help and how she feels about being supported by me now.

[10:37]: Instagram is instrumental in forming relationships. Especially where people never meet in person.

[12:14]: Buy it cheap, buy it twice.

[13:25]: Alisha has evolved from being unhappy in her previous job to waking up every morning feeling so thankful that this is her work and journey.

[14:31]: The best business advice she has received - investing back in her business.

[15:00]: The worst business she has received - buying an account on Instagram. Cut corners and try to learn something herself. Now she seeks help from experts.

[16:07]: The advice she would give to her younger self - to believe in herself.

[17:10]: Where to find Alisha.
