Small business legal expertise – how it can benefit your small business
Here at TM Solicitor we are Australian business lawyers who focus on providing small business legal expertise to our clients because we love it; we’re good at it, and it’s our passion. Our mission is to empower every small business owner we meet to back themselves – legally.
You won’t find us acting in family law matters; looking after conveyancing, or appearing in court for drink drive offences. We are small business lawyers and that’s what we focus on – nothing more, nothing less.
So why do you need an Australian business lawyer on your side?
We are a valuable part of your team
We rarely work with clients as a one-off (we can, but it rarely works out that way). When we start working with a client, we are building a relationship. We take the time to understand the business; the owner/s; the goals, objectives and the vision; the paint-points, and so on.
This process allows us to do what we do best, and it allows our clients to have complete confidence that we have their best interests at heart. We don’t spread ourselves thin between different areas of legal practice; we aren’t pushed for time because we have deadlines to meet with Courts, and because we operate remotely, we don’t get stuck in traffic and run late for our client meetings!
What this means for you as our client is that before you enter into a new contract or agreement; before you take on the new hire, or sign up to something new, you can run these things by us (either pick up the phone and talk it through, or send us an email with documents to review for you). Not only do you have a sound mind to bounce with, by someone who knows your business inside and out, you also have someone who can be objective, who can offer a perspective you may not otherwise have had, and someone who has your back every time.
We educate and empower small business owners
Australian business law is what we do. It’s our jam, and we love to share our knowledge. As part of our mission to educate and empower small business owners, we spend time presenting to and hosting interactive workshops for business audiences such as mastermind groups, business collectives, and industry specific associations to share what they need to know in their small business to be legally compliant, legally protected, and set up for long term business success.
The benefit of being a specialised legal practice means we can confidently accept invites to speak at events and present to audiences (both live and online) and share our up-to-date knowledge, whilst having absolute confidence that what we are sharing with audiences is accurate, current and relevant.
(Thinking about hosting a session on business legals and want to approach us to speak? Reach out! We are always happy to chat about your event and explore whether we can add value.)
